Health Care Reform & Corporate Wellness

  • Wellness incentives will increase from 20 to 30 percent of total premium
  • Millions allocated for a national health promotion plan which will include public education about community and work site wellness and health promotion programs

  • Technology to improve worksite wellness to:
    • Find proven ways to increase employee participation

    • Initiatives to change unhealthy behaviors and lifestyle choices that would include counseling, seminars and online programs
    • Improving the workplace environment with policies to encourage healthier lifestyles.
